Samuel Libertiny | Product Manager | London
Before Capsa, Sam worked on the Data & AI team at Hg Capital, working on everything from data analysis on live deals, exit preparation, and implementing AI initiatives at portfolio companies. Prior to this, he was split between the CDD advisory and analytics practices of Oliver Wyman, using web scraping and large data analysis to understand everything from London bus fleet and European rail freight to autonomous shipping.

What’s a workflow you’ll never do manually again?
Extracting and cleaning data from Excels, PDFs and the web. Now I can just focus on what’s important.
What’s the best thing a client has taught you?
Brevity.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about working at Capsa?
How hard it is to tell if a new model is actually better. Our prompts and tools get tuned to how each model behaves, so a newer model isn’t automatically an upgrade. Every one gets tested on real deal work before customers see it.
